The Christmas holiday food guide 2021 at Disneyland is full of treats, entrees etc. plus Festival of Holidays in Disney California Adventure. I have complied all the holiday food onto 2 lists for you to print (further down in the post) and help you plan your trip! This year you will find many new and old returning favorites. It feels like forever since we were on Main Street sipping hot cocoa and enjoying a treat from Jolly Holiday. And this year I’m going to appreciate it a little more as I indulge on many of these treats over the next 2 months.

The holiday food offerings are available November 12th – January 9th. In addition to the holiday food there is a food festival going on in Disney California Adventure only. It’s called the Festival of Holidays, which is a multicultural celebration including food, entertainment, music and more. This post will cover all the holiday food, holiday candy and festival food coming this year, so hold on there’s lots to share.
Disneyland holiday food highlights
Disney Parks Blog shared a huge list with all the holiday food. For a complete list to print see the FREE printable further down on this post. Here are a few highlights I wanted to mention. I will try some of these items on my first holiday trip and report back here. Let’s start over in Disneyland and then cover DCA.
Café Orleans – Hot Cocoa Crème Brûlée topped with marshmallow chantilly and served with sugar cookies
Carnation Café – Herb-roasted Pork Sandwich – Herb-roasted pork, mortadella, pickled onions, and arugula on ciabatta served with your choice of fresh fruit or seasoned french fries

Churro Cart – Town Square – Holiday Cookie Churro topped with crushed ginger snaps and holiday spices with vanilla dipping sauce
French Market – Smothered Beef with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, caramelized onions and roasted garlic au jus. I tried this dish and the meat was melt in your mouth. the vegetables were not cooked enough for me. I’d give it a 7/10
Galactic Grill – Caramel Pecan Brownie Parfait – Layers of devil’s food cake, chocolate brownie, caramel pecans and vanilla chantilly. This holiday dessert was yummy. It has all the things I love! 10/10
Golden Horseshoe – Churro Funnel Cake à la Mode – House-made funnel cake topped with dulce de leche gelato, cinnamon sugar, toffee candy and caramel

Rancho del Zocolo – Pork Pozole – Traditional Mexican stew of hominy, shredded pork and guajillo peppers garnished with lime, cabbage, onion, and radish. Also they have Dessert Nachos – cinnamon sugar chips topped with Caramel, strawberries, whipped cream and honey creme anglaise. These were super sweet and delicious. 9/10Pretzel Cart in Tomorrowland – Toffee Pretzel – Cream cheese-filled pretzel sprinkled with toffee sugar and chocolate marshmallow crème dipping sauce
River Belle Terrace – Hummingbird Cake – Pineapple-banana spice cake with cream cheese frosting and candied pecans
Tropical Hideaway – Holiday DOLE Whip Sundae – A swirl of DOLE Whip Cherry and Lime topped with festive decorations
Disneyland holiday food returning that I’d recommend
Jolly Holiday Bakery Café – Chocolate-Mint Macaron with white peppermint cream filling and rich chocolate ganache. One of the best macarons for sure!
Mint Julep Bar – Peppermint Beignets dusted with peppermint powdered sugar. You can purchase in a 3 pack or 6 pack. If you buy the 6 pack you can mix 3 original and 3 candy cane if you want. Remember to shake the beignets really good in the bag to get all that yummy powdered sugar coated all over! These are my FAVORITE seasonal beignet!
Mickey Gingerbread cookie
The Mickey Gingerbread cookie is a soft gingerbread cookie found at several locations. And let me tell you he’s a popular guy, so here’s a few of the locations where you can find him … at Jolly Holiday (mobile order in the morning) and Market House in Disneyland. Then over in DCA at Pacific Wharf Cappuccino Cart, Fiddler, Fifer & Practical and Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream. Lastly he can be found in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel lobby at the holiday cart. Anyone can go in the lobby which I highly recommend. More details on my holiday post.
And don’t forget about the handmade candy canes at both Candy Palace and Trolley Treats. They can only be found on certain days and they go fast. I have a whole post on how to get your hands on one of these delicious giant candy canes over here. Plus the dates for this year in each location.
Disney California Adventure holiday food highlights
Churro Cart by Goofy’s Sky School – Dusted Gingerbread Churro with sweet gingerbread crumbles drizzled with vanilla frosting and finished with Christmas chocolates
Cozy Cone Motel 1 – Cherry-Chocolate Churro – Classic churro rolled in crushed chocolate cookies and topped with cherry glaze and chocolate chips

Hollywood Lounge – Holiday Limeade – Lemon-lime soda with grenadine garnished with a cherry. I had this drink and it’s good but it’s just Sprite and grenadine nothing earth shattering.
Lamplight Lounge – Peppermint-Hot Cocoa Donuts – Hot cocoa-dusted donuts with toasted marshmallow creme and peppermint-chocolate dipping sauces
Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream – Chocolate-Peppermint Bar – Choice of ice cream bar dipped in chocolate drizzled in peppermint icing and topped with crushed peppermint
Smokejumpers Grill – Cranberry Turkey Burger – Grilled turkey burger, cranberry BBQ sauce, seasoned sweet potato fries, and fried onion strings served with choice of waffle-cut fries or onion rings
Disney California Adventure holiday food returning that I’d recommend
Cozy Cone Motel 3 – Creamy Pesto Alfredo Cone – Creamy pesto alfredo pasta, marinated chicken, balsamic reduction, diced tomatoes, and Romano cheese served in a bread cone. This one is really tasty!
Schmoozies! – Peppermint Shake topped with whipped cream and chocolate crème cookies. I love all things peppermint and this one is good!

Festival of Holidays
Festival of Holidays takes place only at Disney California Adventure. Feast on seasonal cuisine at the 8 different Festival Food Marketplaces November 12th to January 9th. Each booth has different offerings scattered along the path from Carthay Circle wrapped around to Goofy’s Sky School plus several quick service locations have Festival food offerings.
My biggest tip if you plan to eat items from several booths then look for the shortest line. Stand in that line and order everything you want from any of the 8 booths. Then you take your receipt to the respective booth and stand in the line marked pick up food. You don’t have to stand in the order food line again. There is no mobile order option for any of the Festival items.
If you want to try several of the yummy offerings you’ll want to purchase the Sip and Savor Pass. The pass gives you the opportunity to taste your way through the Festival Foods Marketplaces at participating locations. It includes 8 entitlement tabs to redeem for eligible food and beverage offerings. It can be purchased at various locations throughout the park. The price for the Sip and Savor Pass is $57 for guests and $52 for Magic Key holders. I get asked a lot if the pass is worth it. Well that just depends on the items you plan to eat. You can find the food prices online or in the Disneyland app under dining. One of the best values I found was the Holiday Shake from Smokejumpers. It’s a spiced shake (very subtle flavor) garnished with green whipped cream and a Red Wreath donut that’s actually a CHURRO GEAR! There’s a cinnamon spice in the sugar coating. I loved this option. And for $8.99 it’s a great use of a tab. The only thing about using a tab at a quick service location is you can’t mobile order. So I had to stand in line for the shake at Smokejumpers even though they have mobile order. So keep that in mind. Remember everything on the list (print list at the bottom of this post) you can use a tab to purchase even if it’s a quick service location.
